This six-week online course will provide you with a foundational understanding of mindfulness meditation and how to skillfully develop this innate capacity to better understand and identify emotional and behavioral patterns in how you relate to life’s experiences. The course is designed to guide you through a process of understanding and exploring a set of concepts that can change the way you see and relate to life as a whole.

In this instructor-led course, you will be presented with a set of guided meditations, teachings, and resources to introduce skillful ways to incorporate mindfulness into your life. This course is perfect for those who are new to mindfulness meditation and is also well-suited to those who have varying levels of experience. The course is designed as an introduction to mindfulness yet all experience levels are welcome.

This specific course serves as an excellent foundational building block for developing a nature-based mindfulness practice. While we will focus primarily on learning about the basics of mindfulness, my background means that I will infuse the lessons and guided meditations with teachings grounded in nature-based mindfulness practices. My background is in wildlife conservation, environmental education, conservation photography, and nature-based mindfulness meditation.
